What We Did
We Rise Page
In our position as thought-partners and strategic guides for YouTube’s mental health work, we focused on three large brand activations for mental health in 2020.
The Los Angeles Department of Mental Health and TaskForce joined forces to create WE RISE, a large-scale, 10-day pop-up art exhibition and platform of artists, activists, public figures and the community partnering to illuminate issues around mental health, stigma and call for systemic changes so ALL youth have the support and resources they need to ensure their wellbeing.

The Challenge
By recognizing the immense scale and impact that YouTube can have at a global level, we can leverage that to help fight mental health stigma and provide resources for those struggling with mental health issues.
Our Approach
We led all creative ideation and development for YouTube’s Mental Health work. We partnered with YouTube’s social team to lead creative development and strategy for May Mental Health Month and International Self Care Day Campaigns. We led research on mental health, playlist curation for Youtube’s homepage, created over 100 GIFs, drove social strategy, and mapped the wellbeing creator space, including the most influential creators on and off Youtube in order to prioritize diversity and user engagement.
